I recently had the need for a tool capable of modifying data spread across multiple text files. Basically I needed something that would do a souped up “search and replace”. A quick prowl of the internet landed me on a tool aptly named “Replace Text” made by a company called Ecobyte.

The license agreement for this software is by far the best I have ever encountered and is one I would like to see more often.
